Jacqui Kennington (formerly Jacqui Adamson) is a registered osteopath who graduated from the
British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) in 2004 with First Class Honours.
On graduation, she worked in a large osteopathic practice in Beverley and Cottingham before setting up in York in 2006. Training at the BCOM has an emphasis on the importance of good nutrition and exercise, as well as osteopathic treatment, so Jacqui is ideally placed to offer nutritional advice and guidance as well.
During her time in London, Jacqui worked with the Hammersmith Hospital in researching the importance of diet in the prevention of diabetes. The paper was published in the British Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
Prior to qualifying as an osteopath, Jacqui studied psychology at Durham University and graduated in 2000 with First Class Honours.
Jacqui has also done post-graduate training with the British Medical Acupuncture Society and practises medical acupuncture in combination with osteopathy.
Recently Jacqui has gone on to specialise in treating back pain and pelvic pain during pregnancy
