Wear something comfortable and loose. You may have to get undressed so your osteopath can perform a thorough assessment. You are more than welcome to bring some shorts and a vest to change into.
You can park on the drive outside Chestnut House, or on North Lane. Please park with consideration for others, so that the previous patient is still able to get out!
Your osteopathic treatment is covered by all health insurance companies, such as WPA, Norwich Union, HSA and LHF (with the exception of BUPA and AXA PPP). If you have any queries about insurance, please ask.
We try to see new patients as soon as possible, quite often within a few days of contacting us. You can call the practice on 01904 431335 and leave a voicemail if necessary, or email info@york-osteopaths.co.uk.
Please note, there is no longer a receptionist working at the clinic, but please leave a message and I will respond to all messages as soon as I can.
The practice is only open for patient appointments Monday to Wednesday, but we do run early morning clinics from 8am Monday to Wednesday and an early evening clinic on Wednesdays until 6pm.
If you are unable to make your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so that we are able to cancel it or re-schedule for another time.
We are often heavily booked and have people waiting for a cancellation. Failing to arrive for an appointment often deprives someone else of the appointment who is in pain and needs treatment.
We reserve the right to charge the full fee for appointments not attended and 50% for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.
