Heworth Osteopathic Practice is run by Jacqui Kennington. 

Osteopathy is a recognised way of detecting and treating damaged parts of your body, such as muscles, ligaments, nerves and joints. 

Osteopathy can help your body to heal itself by a variety of stretching, mobilising and gentle manipulation. With added exercises and health advice, we can help you to reduce symptoms of back pain, neck pain, sports injuries, joint aches and improve your health and quality of life.

All osteopaths are registered with the General Osteopathic Council.  Only practitioners meeting the highest standards of safety and competency are eligible for entry to the Statutory Register of Osteopaths. Proof of good health, good character and professional indemnity insurance cover is also a requirement.  Once registered, Osteopaths are bound by a strict Code of Practice and may be subject to disciplinary procedures. Osteopaths are also committed to lifelong learning through a system of mandatory Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
